Jeffrey Cooper, PhD - Executive Director
Dr. Cooper has his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri. With more than 30 years experience, he is the Director of Biomedical Engineering for Partners Healthcare, Associate Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School, and is the founder of the Center for Medical Simulation, a co-founder and board member of the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation and board member of the National Patient Safety Foundation. Dr. Cooper is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2003 John M. Eisenberg Award for Lifetime Achievement in Patient Safety from the National Quality Forum and the JCAHO. |

Dan Raemer, PhD - Operations Director
Dr. Raemer has his doctorate in Bioengineering from the University of Utah. He is an Associate Professor in the Harvard Medical School’s Anaesthesia Department and received a special teaching achievement award in 2003 for his simulation work with that department. Since 1993, he has been the Operations Director at the Center for Medical Simulation. Dr. Raemer has been president of the Society of Technology in Anesthesia and is the founder and current Board of Overseers Chairperson of the international Society for Medical Simulation. |

Robert Simon, EdD, CPE- Education Director
Dr. Simon has a doctorate in education from the University of Massachusetts. He is a human factors specialist with more than 25 years experience as a researcher and educator. For the last 15 years he has specialized in research, development, and training for high-performance, high-stress teams in aviation and medicine. He joined CMS as Education Director in December of 2002. |

Jenny Rudolph, PhD- Assoc. Director, IMS
Dr. Rudolph has unique expertise in how cognition, emotion and communication interact. Her teaching and research focus on how reflective practice can help people perform better in fast-paced OR, ER and ICU settings. Rudolph received her doctorate in management from Boston College and her BA inSociology from Harvard College. After five years on the faculty of Boston University School of Public Health, she is now a lecturer at Harvard Medical School and on the full tiime staff of the Center for Medical Simulation as a researcher and educator.

Sandra Slarsky - Director of Business Development
Ms Slarsky has more than 30 Years experience as a health care marketing executive, working in academic medical centers, large medical groups and community hospitals. Ms Slarsky has an MBA from, Boston University and was previously a consultant with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and VP of Marketing at Beth Israel Hospital. |

Jordan Halasz - Operations Manager
Mr. Halasz has more than 30 years experience in healthcare. In his previous position, he was the Supply Coordinator and Technical Manager for the Anesthesia Department at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been with CMS since 1993 as the Operations Manager. |

Anthony Dancel, BMET, CPhT - Simulation Specialist
Mr. Dancel has more then 10 years experience in Pharmacy. He is a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician. His last position was as the Lead Pharmacy Technician for Training and Compliance at Massachusetts General Hospital. Tony also has a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology |

Rhonda Young - Office Manager
Ms. Young joined CMS as Administrative Staff Assistant in 2001. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science from Emmanuel College, Boston MA., and has more than 15 years experience in healthcare. In her previous position, she was the Team Leader in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Massachusetts General Hospital.
