Institute for Medical Simulation Graduates

The development of a healthcare practitioner’s skills is a life-long process. Many of our graduates have returned to CMS for further, ongoing training.

Those who have successfully completed the IMS Comprehensive Course are eligible to participate in two IMS Graduate Courses:

  • Developing an Instructor Training Curriculum for Simulation Programs
This course is conducted as a combination of web-based coursework and a three-day session at the Center for Medical Simulation in Cambridge, MA.

  • Advanced Debriefing: A Skills Development Course
This course is entirely web-based, where teams of 8-10 participants meet online over the course of ten months to complete the course work and discussions required. (This course is still in development)

More information about each of these courses, their objectives and formats can be found here.
