Anthony Dancel –Technical Director
Prior to becoming Technical Director, Mr. Dancel served for three years as CMS' Senior Simulation Specialist and Educational Technologist. Tony also has more than 10 years of experience in pharmacy. He is a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician and previously served as the Lead Pharmacy Technician for Training and Compliance at Massachusetts General Hospital.. Tony earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Laura Gay Majerus – Education Simulation Specialist
Laura is a graduate of Ithaca College where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Instructional Design Program at the University of Massachusetts - Boston. Laura has prior experience in sales, marketing, customer service and technical writing. Her previous position was as the Action Learning Program Coordinator at the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management, where she provided program management and administrative support for the "Action Learning” courses and played an active role in bringing new technology to the classroom as well as training faculty and staff in its use.
Christina Valle – Simulation Specialist
Christina is a Certified Surgical Technologist who has worked locally at both Brigham and Women Hospital and Newton Wellesley Hospital. She has assisted with the surgical procedures in Orthopedics, Neurology, Thoracic, General Surgery, ENT, Head and Neck, Microsurgery, Maxillofacial, Craniofacial, Plastic/Reconstructive, Urology, Ophthalmology, Vascular Surgery and Pediatrics.Simulation Specialist
Rhonda Young – Administrative Coordinator
Ms. Young joined CMS as Administrative Staff Assistant in 2001. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science from Emmanuel College in Boston and has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare. Prior to joining CMS, she was the Team Leader in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Paul Montgomery – Education Coordinator
Mr. Montgomery earned his PhD in physics from MIT, after which he studied pastoral counseling at divinity school. After an internship counseling the terminally ill, he began teaching about coping with death, dying, and loss. He spent the next 37 years in end-of-life care, first on the Geriatrics Team and as Director of Consultation and Education Services for the Cambridge-Somerville Mental Health Center, then as a certified grief counselor and Hospice Manager, and most recently as a member of the Mass General Hospital’s Palliative Care Service. Mr. Montgomery has taught and organized conferences throughout his healthcare career. He joined CMS in 2008.
